Awami Ittihadi Party condemns Delhi attack

Srinagar, Nov 11: The Awami Ittihadi Party (AIP) has expressed its unequivocal and strongest condemnation of the heinous attack that took place at the Red Fort on November 10, 2025.

“This reprehensible act of violence is a direct assault on one of India’s most cherished symbols of sovereignty, heritage, and unity, and stands in complete opposition to the values of peace and democracy that define our Republic,” the party said in a statement.

Sheikh Ashiq, State Secretary of the Awami Ittihadi Party, conveyed profound sorrow and solidarity with the families of those who lost their lives in the tragic incident. He also extended prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured and expressed deep appreciation for the security forces’ prompt and courageous response.

Ashiq stated, “The Red Fort represents the indomitable spirit and resilience of our nation. Any attempt to desecrate its sanctity or disrupt the peace of our society is an affront to the collective conscience of the people of India. The Awami Ittihadi Party urges the authorities to ensure a thorough, transparent, and time-bound investigation so that the culprits are brought to justice in accordance with the law.”

The AIP reaffirmed its unwavering support for the nation’s law enforcement and security institutions and emphasized the importance of collective vigilance to safeguard the country’s democratic and cultural heritage. “At this critical juncture, the Party called upon all citizens to remain calm and united, to reject violence in all its forms, and to uphold the principles of peace, harmony, and mutual respect that form the bedrock of the nation,” he added.
