Chief Minister reviews CAPEX expenditure, calls for faster execution and timely completion of development works

Srinagar, Dec 11 (KINS): The Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today chaired a high-level review meeting to assess the progress of ongoing projects under the CAPEX budget.
During the meeting, he took a detailed look at department-wise expenditure, physical progress of works, and timelines for completion.
The Chief Minister urged all departments and implementing agencies to accelerate execution so that allocated funds are utilised within the stipulated time. He emphasised that timely spending is crucial for ensuring that people on the ground witness real, measurable development.

The Chief Minister directed officials to strengthen regular monitoring mechanisms and remove all administrative or technical bottlenecks that slow down project implementation. He said that development works must move forward without interruption and that accountability will be fixed for unnecessary delays.(KINS)
