Srinagar, Jan 03 (KINS): The Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, has summoned the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly to meet at Jammu on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
According to an official summon issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Secretariat, the order was promulgated by the Lieutenant Governor on January 3, 2026, in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 18(1) of the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act, 2019.
The order states that the forthcoming session of the Legislative Assembly will be held at Jammu, marking the formal convening of the House for legislative business.
In line with Rule 3 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, all Members have been requested to make it convenient to attend the session on the appointed date, time, and venue.(KINS)
