J&K Police conduct training-cum-briefing session for Pairavi and Legal staff in Baramulla

Baramulla, Jan 03 (KINS): Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday conducted a training-cum-briefing session at the Conference Hall of District Police Lines (DPL), Baramulla, to enhance coordination and efficiency in legal and court-related work.

The session was chaired by the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Baramulla, and was attended by the Additional Superintendent of Police Baramulla, ASP Headquarters Baramulla, CPO DPHQ, three DySPs (Prosecution), 14 court pairavi officers, 22 police station and police post pairavi-cum-verification staff, besides personnel from the Legal Section and Passport Verification Section.

The objective of the session was to ensure timely court follow-up, strengthen legal compliance, improve coordination among various wings, and streamline passport and service verification processes.

Senior officers emphasized professionalism, accountability and the importance of timely disposal of court cases and verification assignments. Officers were briefed on prescribed procedures and best practices, while interactive discussions were held to address routine challenges. The programme was coordinated by IC Establishment, IC P&VS, IC Legal, IC CS and IC GB.

J&K Police reiterated its commitment to capacity building through regular training programmes to improve service delivery and public trust.(KINS)
