Sunil Sharma backs Modi’s foreign policy, criticises Rahul Gandhi

Jammu, Feb 04 (KINS): Leader of Opposition in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly and BJP leader Sunil Sharma on Wednesday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foreign policy and criticised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his remarks in the Lok Sabha, alleging they harmed national security and sovereignty.

Sharma said India’s rising global image reflected the success of the Modi government and accused Gandhi of making irresponsible statements on defence and foreign affairs.

Meanwhile, PDP MLA Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi defended Gandhi, saying questioning the government in Parliament was part of democratic responsibility. He urged the government to address issues raised by the opposition without viewing them through political lenses.(KINS)
