Jammu, July 20 (KINS): Seven people lost their lives after a landslide triggered by heavy rainfall struck a residential house in the Loran Domila Dhook area of Poonch district on Monday.
Police and rescue teams rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation. All seven bodies were recovered from the debris, officials said.
The tragedy comes amid widespread devastation caused by continuous heavy rains and flash floods across Poonch and Rajouri districts. Rescue and relief operations are continuing in the affected areas as authorities work to assist residents and assess the damage.(KINS)
