Srinagar, Oct 12 (KINS): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has expressed deep grief over the demise of former minister S. Harbans Singh, who passed away at a private hospital in Jammu early Monday at the age of 84.
Recalling his services to Jammu and Kashmir, the Chief Minister described his demise as a great loss to the region.
He extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
S. Harbans Singh served as a Cabinet Minister in the government headed by former Chief Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah from 1996 to 2002.(KINS)
