Srinagar, Oct 16 (KINS): The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has advised farmers across Jammu and Kashmir to resume harvesting and other agricultural activities from today, as mainly dry weather is expected to continue until October 24.
According to the latest forecast, October 16 may remain generally dry, with a brief spell of light rain at isolated places. Dry weather is expected to prevail from October 17 to late afternoon on October 24.
However, from October 25 to 27, generally cloudy weather with light rain at scattered places is expected, while higher reaches may receive light snowfall. Thunderstorms and gusty winds are also possible at a few places.
Farmers have been advised to make the most of the expected dry spell to complete harvesting and other farm operations before the possibility of a change in weather conditions.(KINS)
