Srinagar, Oct 17 (KINS): The Court of the Additional Sessions Judge, Srinagar, has awarded life imprisonment to three persons convicted in a murder case registered at Police Station Batamaloo in 2022, Srinagar Police said.
According to Srinagar Police, the case was registered under FIR No. 109/2022 under Sections 498-A, 302, 120-B and 201 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
“After the conclusion of the trial, the court convicted Hafeeza Begum, Parveez Ahmad Dar alias Bilal, and Shahnawaz Ahmad Dar under Sections 302 (murder) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC and awarded them life imprisonment”.
Police said the conviction followed the investigation and subsequent legal proceedings in the case.(KINS)
