Srinagar, Oct 29 (KINS): Jammu and Kashmir Director Information on Thursday said the new media policy is likely to be finalised soon. She said the draft has been submitted and the department is responding to queries.
Speaking at a cultural programme in Srinagar, she said the Directorate’s Cultural Unit plans to organise small cultural events every month throughout the year.
The programme featured local poets, singers and schoolchildren. She said future events would also include dance and theatre performances to promote local talent.
On the new media policy, she said the growing role of social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook in public relations campaigns has also been considered.(KINS)
