‘Visiting Srinagar tomorrow for viksit bharat viksit Jammu Kashmir’ programme’: PM Modi

Srinagar, Mar 06: In a post on social media platform, Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned his upcoming visit to Srinagar on the 7th of March tomorrow.
The visit is set to mark his participation in the ‘Viksit Bharat Viksit Jammu Kashmir’ programme, where various development initiatives will be inaugurated for the region.
Prime Minister Modi took to social media, platform X stating, “I will be in Srinagar tomorrow, 7th March to take part in the ‘Viksit Bharat Viksit Jammu Kashmir’ programme. Various development works will also be dedicated to the nation. Notable among them are works worth over Rs. 5000 crore relating to boosting the agro-economy. Various works linked with tourism will also be dedicated to the nation.”
The programme aims to spotlight and bolster developmental efforts in the region, with a focus on enhancing agricultural infrastructure and fostering tourism. Works valued at over Rs. 5000 crore aimed at elevating the agro-economy are among the significant initiatives to be dedicated to the nation during the event.
Furthermore, various projects aligned with promoting tourism in Jammu and Kashmir will also be unveiled during the Prime Minister’s visit, underscoring the government’s commitment to fostering economic growth and prosperity in the region.
