Union Minister G K Reddy & Tarun Chugh review preparations for PM Modi’s rally at Maulana Azad Stadium in Jammu

Jammu, Sep 26 (KINS): Union Minister G K Reddy, alongside BJP General Secretary Tarun Chugh and other senior party leaders, conducted a comprehensive inspection of the Maulana Azad Stadium in Jammu on Thursday. This visit was part of preparations for the much-anticipated public meeting scheduled to be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, September 28, as the BJP gears up for the final leg of its election campaign.
“The BJP’s star campaigners have already visited Jammu and Kashmir and conducted massive rallies in the first two phases of the election campaign. Now, Prime Minister Modi’s address in Jammu will give us the final push in the last phase,” stated one of the BJP leaders, emphasizing the significance of the Prime Minister’s presence in rallying support for the party.
The upcoming public meeting is expected to attract thousands of party supporters as the BJP aims to solidify its base in the region.
With the third and final phase of polling scheduled for October 1, the stakes are notably high.
Eleven Assembly constituencies in Jammu district will be voting, including key areas such as Bishnah (SC), Suchetgarh (SC), R.S. Pura-Jammu South, and Jammu East.
Jammu district, with a total of 1,200,977 eligible voters—comprising 619,066 men, 581,887 women, and 24 identifying as third gender—poses a crucial battleground for political parties. In preparation for the elections, the Election Commission of India (ECI) has established 1,494 polling stations across the district, ensuring accessibility with 609 located in urban areas and 885 in rural locales.
Chugh highlighted the strategic importance of the Jammu constituency, stating, “With our extensive outreach in the first two phases, we are optimistic about our chances. The PM’s visit will not only boost the morale of our workers but also galvanize support from undecided voters.”
As the final phase approaches, party leaders are hopeful that Modi’s address will inspire confidence among voters and reinforce the BJP’s message of development and stability.
The atmosphere in Jammu is charged with anticipation, as the party seeks to maximize turnout and secure a strong mandate in the upcoming elections.(KINS)
