Baramulla Police launches drive against encroachments, urges shopkeepers to comply with rules

Srinagar, Oct 19 (KINS): In a bid to tackle the growing issue of encroachments by shopkeepers placing their goods on roads and footpaths, the Baramulla Police has launched a drive to clear these public spaces.
The encroachments have been causing significant inconvenience, obstructing both pedestrian and vehicular movement.
Reaffirming their commitment to public welfare, the police as per news agency KINS assured that these drives will be conducted regularly to ensure adherence to regulations.
Authorities have also called on shopkeepers to comply with the rules and maintain clear pathways for the general public.
Local residents have welcomed the initiative, expressing hope that such efforts will continue to enhance public accessibility and ensure smoother movement in Baramulla town.(KINS)
