MLA Lolab Qaysar Lone Inspects Dilbagh Diver Receiving Station, Urges Immediate Operation Before Winter

Lolab, October 20: In a key effort to tackle power overloading issues in the Lolab region, MLA Qaysar Lone inspected the near-complete Dilbagh Diver receiving station today. His visit aimed to review the station’s progress and push for its immediate operation before winter sets in.

MLA Lone, satisfied with the construction progress, highlighted the importance of the station in addressing power supply challenges, especially during the demanding winter months. With the upcoming increase in electricity consumption, the new receiving station is expected to ease overloading and provide reliable power to residents.

He urged officials to expedite the final stages of the project and ensure its functionality before winter to prevent power disruptions and improve the quality of life for the local population.

“This receiving station is crucial for Lolab. With winter approaching, it’s essential that we secure consistent power distribution. I’ve directed authorities to fast-track the remaining processes so the station can be operational without delay,” Lone stated during his visit.

The station’s development is part of broader efforts to upgrade the region’s power infrastructure, aimed at boosting capacity and ensuring a more dependable electricity supply.
