2 civilian porters, 2 soldiers killed in Gulmarg attack

Srinagar, Oct 24: Two civilian porters and two army soldiers were killed in a terrorist attack on an army vehicle in Botapathri, near the Nagin post, in the Gulmarg area of Baramulla district on Thursday evening.

The attack occurred when terrorists targeted the army vehicle, resulting in the deaths of two soldiers and two civilian porters, while three others were injured. The injured were initially treated at Gulmarg hospital before being transferred to the 92 Base Army Hospital in Srinagar for further treatment.

In response to the attack, additional reinforcements have been dispatched to the area, and a large-scale search operation has been launched to locate and neutralize the terrorists.

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah condemned the attack, expressing his condolences to the families of the victims.

PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti also condemned the attack, expressing shock and sadness over the loss of life. (KINS)
