Govt forms committee to monitor DPCs & vacancy referrals

Srinagar, Dec 14 (KINS): The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Saturday constituted a new monitoring committee to oversee the referral of vacancies and the conduct of Departmental Promotion Committees (DPCs).
In a government order issued today, as per news gathering agency KINS, the committee will consist of key administrative officials, including the Additional Secretary (Administration), Deputy Secretary (Services), Deputy Secretary (Monitoring), and Under Secretary (Monitoring).
The committee’s primary task will be to monitor and review the referral of gazetted vacancies and the DPC process on a weekly basis, ensuring timely and accurate administration.
The committee is also mandated to submit weekly reports for further appraisal by the relevant authorities.
This initiative aims to streamline the promotion process and improve efficiency within the administrative departments. (KINS)
