Health Minister Sakina Itoo directs release of NHM Employees’ Salaries

Srinagar, Feb 12 (KINS): Health and Medical Education Minister, Sakina Itoo Wednesday said that she has issued the directives for the immediate release of salaries for National Health Mission (NHM) employees.
She emphasized the government’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of healthcare workers and ensuring timely support for their invaluable services.
“Have passed the directions for release of salaries of NHM employees. The government remains committed to the welfare of healthcare workers and ensuring timely support for their invaluable services,” Minister wrote on her social media handle, as per news agency KINS.
This direction comes after NHM employees have been advocating for job security and timely salary payments. Earlier, they highlighted their concerns urging the government to address their longstanding issues.(KINS)
