Srinagar, July 18 (KINS): National Conference President, Dr Farooq Abdullah on Friday said that the issue of restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir will be taken up during the scheduled INDIA bloc meeting on Saturday evening.

Speaking to reporters in Budgam, Dr. Abdullah as per news agency KINS said,  “All leaders of the INDIA alliance are meeting on the evening of July 19, and we will definitely discuss the issue of statehood there,”

The INDIA bloc — an alliance of opposition parties including the National Conference — is expected to deliberate on various national and regional issues in the lead-up to the Monsoon Session of Parliament.
