Western media spreading propaganda, says MLA Budgam Aga Muntazir on Iran situation

KINS Correspondent
Srinagar Jan 10 (KINS): MLA Budgam Aga Muntazir on Saturday dismissed reports of unrest in Iran as “propaganda by Western media,” asserting that the situation in the country remains normal and under control.
Speaking to reporters according to news agency Kashmir Indepth News Service (KINS), Aga Muntazir said that Kashmiri students studying in Iran are safe and being taken proper care of. He appealed to families of students not to panic or worry, saying there is no cause for concern.
He further stated that educational institutions in Iran are functioning normally and routine academic activities are continuing without disruption. “It is wrong to portray the situation in Iran as alarming. Such narratives are misleading and far from reality,” he said.
The MLA said that there is no threat to the safety or well-being of students and urged people to rely on verified information rather than unsubstantiated reports.(KINS)
