Srinagar, July 18 (KINS): Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat, accompanied by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Zone V.K. Birdi, visited Shadipora on Saturday to review security arrangements for the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY) and assess operational preparedness.
During the visit, the DGP took stock of the security deployment, operational measures, and overall preparedness of the forces. Senior officers briefed him on the prevailing security scenario and the steps being taken to ensure the safe and smooth conduct of the pilgrimage. Prabhat also interacted with officers on the ground and emphasized maintaining high alertness and seamless coordination among all security agencies.(KINS)
