Sensitization, training cum awareness programme on COVID-19 concludes in Anantnag

ANANTNAG, JUNE 19: The four day long sensitization, training cum awareness programme on COVID-19 concluded today at Anantnag. The programme was aimed to sensitize the business community regarding COVID-19 infection and ensuring that they shall follow necessary protocol at their places of work.

The district administration in collaboration with department of preventive and social medicine Government Medical College, Anantnag, conducted the programme to impart training and awareness to the business community from 16th of June 2020 to 19th of June 2020 at Hanifia Higher Secondary School, Anantnag.

The officers from district administration, Anantnag and Assistant Professors from GMC, Anantnag awared the business community regarding usages of Masks, Sanitization & maintaining of social distance at their places of work.

Public Specialist Dr. Abdul Rouf, Assistant Professor Dr. Mehbooba Rasool briefed about the sanitization programme and said that the aim of the training and awareness programme was to sensitized the business community regarding preventive measures to combat COVID-19 infection. She also said that every person should maintain social distancing, and to follow other SOPs while running their business establishments.
