Bandipora, Nov 04 (KINS): Former Minister and former MLA Bandipora Usman Majid has raised concerns over the electricity outage in Bandipora town, questioning the Power Development Department (PDD) over the disruption in power supply.

In a post on social media, Majid said that Bandipora town had been plunged into darkness and questioned the accountability of the concerned department. He also tagged the Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Department and the local PDD authorities in his post.

Majid also questioned the government over its pre-election promise of ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply, stating that political commitments hold little meaning if people continue to face power disruptions. He sought accountability from the concerned department over the issue.
