Mumbai trekker dies of cardiac arrest in J&K

 

A body of a Mumbai based trekker was rescued on Thursday morning from Chadar Trek in Leh district of Jammu and Kashmir after air force launched an air rescue.

Media reports suggest that the trekker died after he suffered a cardiac arrest near Tibb Cave on Chadar Trek, however, his body has been airlifted to Leh air force station for the medico-legal formalities, where from it will be sent to Mumbai.

In this regard, police have also taken the cognizance of the case.
