A man was shot dead by unknown gunmen in south Kashmir’s Shopian village on Wednesday.
Reports reaching said unknown gunmen this afternoon fired upon a man in the Kachdoora area of Shopian and injured him critically.
The deceased was identified as Tanveer Ahmed Dar son of Mohammad Abdulla Dar resident of Bemnipora Shopian.
However the injured man was rushed to nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
Meanwhile whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
