DHS organises blood donation camp in Bandipora

BANDIPORA, DECEMBER 07: District Health Society Bandipora on Saturday organised a blood donation camp at Mini Secretariat Bandipora

Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Zahoor Ahmad Mir inaugurated the camp.

He was accompanied by Chief Medical Officer Bandipora Dr Tajamul Hussain, Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr Parveeza Kounser, District Social Welfare Officer Altaf Hussain and Chairman Municipal Committee Bandipora Khursheed Ahmad Ganaie.

The camp was held in collaboration with Lal Ded Maternity Hospital Srinagar and 14th Rashtriya Riffles.

Speaking on the occasion, the ADC stressed on the need creating awareness among masses regarding benefits of blood donation.

CMO Bandipora also spoke on the occasion and said more such donation camps will be organised in near future.

During the camp 30 units of blood was donated.
