2 women, sweeper suffer burn injuries in Kokernag school

Srinagar, Mar 09 : Two women and a sweeper were injured in a fire mishap in a school at Batpora, Larnoo area of Kokernag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday.

Reports said that the two women who are working as Contingent Paid Workers (CPW) and a sweeper at government Primary School received minor burn injuries after the kitchen caught fire. The incident occurred when the women duo was cooking mid-day meals for students, they said.

The injured persons were immediately hospitalized and are said to be out of danger, they added reported GNS.
