Boy Dies In Air Tank Explosion in Baramulla

Srinagar, April 28 : An 11-year-old boy died at Kanipath area of Singhpora in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district due to air tank blast on Tuesday afternoon.

Reports reaching said that the boy namely Mohd Abass Dar son of Ghulam Hassan died on the spot when the air tank exploded at Kanipath area. It was not immediately known as to what the boy was doing inside the shop.

Confirming it, a police officer told news agency that initial investigations point out that the blast occurred due to excessive pressure in the air compressor machine (air tank).

He said that police has taken cognizance and further investigations are underway. (GNS)
