12 persons die due to COVID in J&K, toll 300

Srinagar, July 24(KINS): Twelve more persons died due to Coronavirus on Friday in Jammu and Kashmir, taking the toll of deaths to 300.


Officials told the KINS that J&K on Friday reported 12 more COVID related deaths.


They said among the fatalities include a 75-year-old man from Saderbal Srinagar, a 65-year-old man from Maharaj Gunj Srinagar, a 65-year-old woman from Malaknag Anantnag, a 58-year-old IRP Sub Inspector from Jammu,  a 44-year-old shopkeeper from Karan Bagh Satwari,a 68-year-old woman from Sopore, a 70-year-old male from Rainawari Srinagar, a 75-year-old Lady from Peerbagh Srinagar and a 60-year-old male patient from Khanyar Srinagar, a 50-year-old woman from Tangmarg and 60-year-old woman from Dub Ganderbal.


With 12 more deaths, the death toll due to COVID-19 has reached to 300 in J&K including 278 from Kashmir division and 22 from Jammu division.


Meanwhile, 508 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals, 35 from Jammu Division and 473 from Kashmir Division.(KINS)
