Jammu, Oct 03 (KINS): The General Officer Commanding (GoC) of the Rising Star Corps conducted a comprehensive assessment of the operational preparedness of units deployed in the strategic Bani and Machedi sectors of Kathua district.
This review is part of the ongoing efforts to ensure high levels of readiness and vigilance in areas close to the Line of Control (LoC).
As per the news agency KINS, during the assessment, the GoC interacted with the troops and reviewed their operational capabilities, including logistical support, surveillance measures, and defensive positions. He commended the dedication and professionalism exhibited by all ranks in executing their operations, acknowledging their role in maintaining peace and stability in the region despite challenging terrain and weather conditions.
Addressing the troops, the GoC emphasized the importance of continued alertness and adaptability to evolving security threats. He expressed confidence in their ability to effectively safeguard the borders and respond swiftly to any potential situations.
