Police facilitates PCPG meeting in Budgam

Srinagar, Sep 14 (KINS): As a part of public outreach programme, Police Community Partnership Group meeting was facilitated by Budgam Police at Police Post Pakherpora.

The meeting was chaired by SDPO Charar-i-Sharief Saleem Jahangir-JKPS accompanied by SHO Police Station Charar-i-Sharief and DO Pakherpora. The meeting was attended by large number of respectable citizens and representatives of various Masjids, Mohalla Committees, transporters and other notable persons of the area.

During the meeting, stress was laid on the adherence to Covid appropriate behaviour and adoption of preventive measures to contain spread of Covid-19. Owing to the impending 3rd wave of Covid-19, the charring officer requested participants to follow the guidelines/SOPs issued by the Government from time to time and spread awareness among the people regarding containment of Covid-19.

During the meeting, participants also raised various issues pertaining to Police and civil authorities. The chairing officers assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to Police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal. “`
