Govt’s Commitment to Cancer Care: 30 New Hospitals in Nine Years, 10 More in the Pipeline

Srinagar, Jan 21: In a bid to address the formidable challenges that cancer patients and their families face during treatment, the central government has taken significant strides to enhance cancer care infrastructure. Over the past nine years, approximately 30 new cancer hospitals have been established, reaffirming the commitment to ensure accessible and quality healthcare for all.
As per the government details while recognizing the pressing need for expanded cancer treatment facilities, the government has intensified efforts, currently working on the construction of 10 additional cancer hospitals.
