Prime Minister Modi Guides Ceremonial Rites for Ram Temple Consecration in Ayodhya

Srinagar, Jan 22: Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, personally overseeing the rituals.
The newly consecrated Ram Lalla idol adorned the 161-feet tall pink sandstone shrine during the hour-long ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony.
In attendance during the rituals inside the sanctum sanctorum were Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.
Upon reaching the Ram Mandir, PM Modi expressed, “It is a great pleasure to be a part of this divine program.”
He wrote on X, “The extraordinary moment of the consecration of Ram Lala’s life in Ayodhya Dham is going to leave everyone emotional.”
The 51-inch idol of Ram Lalla, crafted by Mysuru-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj, arrived on January 17 and found its place in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple on January 18.
