Mirwaiz visits slain Srinagar civilian, militants families

Srinagar: Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Monday was released from three week long house detention and visited families of three Srinagar youth who were killed recently in a gunfight at Fatehkadal. 

Mirwaiz visited families of the Rayees Ahmad, a civilian, of Mehrajuddin Bangroo and Fahad Mushtaq, two militants who were killed in the gunfight.

“After a three week house detention ended, had and opportunity to visit and condole the family members of Shaheed Rayees Ahmad Sofi, Shaheed Mehraj udin and Shaheed Fahad Fayaz, who were martyred by Indian forces. The determination and conviction gave power. The pure blood of our martyrs wont go waste, Insha Allah. (translation): Mirwaiz tweeted.
