Srinagar, Dec 8: Gunfight broke out between militants and the government forces at Mujgund Srinagar on Saturday evening.
Reports said that a joint team of SOG, Police and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation at Mujgund area following inputs about the presence of some militants in the area.
They said the militants opened fire after the cordon was tightened. The forces retaliated, leading to a gunfight. The gunfight was going on when the report was filed.
