Two Sopore residents held along with 38 kgs of Fukki

 

Baramulla: Police on Thursday claimed to have recovered 38 Kgs of Fukki in Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Police in a statement issued said that during naka which was established by a team of police at Nihlapora road near Cheksari crossing in Pattan.

During the naka one load carrier bearing registration number JK05F 7615 was intercepted and in which vehicle a large quantity of fukki were recovered.

Police statement said that in this regard two accused drug peddlers were arrested and vehicle also siezed.

The accused persons identified as Sajad Ahmad Sheikh son of Bashir Ahmad Sheikh and Nadeem Ahmad Lone son of Manzoor Ahmad Lone residents of Sher Colony Sopore.

Meanwhile in this regard a FIR number 229/2018 US 8/22NDPS Act registered in Police Station Pattan and further investigations taken up statement further reads.
