Two including woman injured in leopard attack in Bandipora village

Bandipora, Jan 13 : Two persons including a woman were injured after they were attacked by a leopard in North Kashmir’s Bandipora village on early Sunday.

Reports said that a wild leopard attacked and injured two persons including a woman in Kuragbal Dawar village of Gurez Bandipora.

However both were rescued by passersby who heard them shouting.

The leopard fled into the forest and the victims were shifted to Sub District hospital Gurez for advance treatment reports added.

The injured person identified as Sajad Ahmad son of Abdul Jabar and Hanifa wife of Mohammad Rafiq both residents of Kuragbal Gurez.

Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary sanctioned twenty thousand each as immediate relief to both injured persons.
