Handwara police cracked burglary case in shortest possible time

March 18: Few days back Police Station Handwara recieved two complaints regarding burglary at New Bus Stand Handwara and Khanbal areas.

Accordingly, a case FIR No. 35/2019 under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Handwara and investigation was started.

During the course of investigation, Handwara police zeroed on three suspects identified as Tariq Ahmad Tantry son of Ghulam Nabi Tantry, Zubair Sultan @Aazan son of Mohammad Sultan Lone and Irfan Majeed @ Abrar son of Ab Majeed Khan, all residents of Khunbal Handwara and were accordingly called for questioning. During questioning, they confessed their crime and on their disclosure stolen property including solar plates, geyser and floor mating were recovered. “`
