Minor girl critically injured after dog attack in Qazigund village

Qazigund, March 21: A five-year-old girl girl was critically injured on Thursday afternoon when a stray dog attacked them in Panzath area of Qazigund in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

Reports said that stray dog entered in a village and attacked a minor girl which identified as Zainab Bilal (05) daughter of Bilal Ahmad Wani a resident of Panzath Qazigund.

The locals managed to chase away the dogs but the damage was done. Zainab lay on the ground, her face had a long gash, the skin ripped apart by the dog’s teeth.

Meanwhile, an official from PHC Qazigund said that a girl were discharged after necessary treatment and she is now stable.
