Omar Abdullah visits Hajin says Kashmir has seen too much of sufferings

Hajin, Marc 26, : The former chief minister of J&K and NC vice president Omar Abdullah condoles the death of Hajin boy saying family yet to come to terms with the loss.

Omar in a series of tweets said that he had gone to Hajin to condole the death of Atif, adding that the family of the deceased are struggling to come to terms with their loss.

Atif Mir, the minor son of the house-owner who was killed in an encounter in Hajin, after the militants retained him as a hostage on March 22, 2019.

“Returning just now from Hajin where I had gone to condole the death of young Atif. Atif was an 11 year old boy, the only son of his parents, killed after he was taken hostage by militants last week,” Omar wrote on his twitter handle.

“His family are struggling to come to terms with their loss, especially his parents & 2 older sisters. May Allah grant young Atif Mir place in Jannat,” he added.

He also said that Kashmir has seen too much of sufferings and nothing can be worse for a father than to lend shoulder to his young child’s coffin and mother than to grieve at her young child’s grave.

“There can be nothing worse for a father than to lend shoulder to his young child’s coffin & nothing worse for a mother than to grieve at her young child’s grave. Kashmir has seen too much of this suffering heaped on parents,” Omar tweeted.
