Amit Shah visits family of police officer killed in Anantnag militant attack

Srinagar: Home Minister of India Amit Shah Thursday morning visited the family of a slain police officer at Balgarden in Srinagar and offered his condolences.

The police officer Arshid Khan, SHO Saddar was injured in a militant attack in Anantnag on June 12. The attack left 5 CRPF personnel dead while Khan suffered injuries.

He was admitted at SKIMS for several days and later shifted to AIIMS Delhi. However, he succumbed to the injuries.

Shah offered condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
