Earthquake of 3.6 magnitude hits Ladakh

A medium-intensity earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale hit the Ladakh region on Tuesday.

“The earthquake occurred at 11:25 am in Ladakh region. The coordinates of the tremor were latitude 32.6 degrees north and longitude 78.9 degrees east,” an official of MeT said.

He also said that the depth of the earthquake was 16 kilometres.

However, there are no reports of any damage reported so far.
