Soldier injured in Pulwama gunfight succumbs

One militant also killed in ongoing gunfight : Police

Srinagar, July 07 (KINS) : An army soldier who was injured in an ongoing gunfight earleir this day in South Kashmir’s Pulwama District has succumbed to his injures at Srinagar hospital.

An official told news agency KINS that an army soldier succumbed his injuries at MI hospital Srinagar.

Earlier a joint team of Army’s 53 RR, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation at Goosu village in Pulwama following inputs about the presence of some militants in the area.

Pertinently, police claimed to have killed one militant sofar in the ongoing gunfight.(KINS)
