Chief Secretary greets people on Rakshabandhan


SRINAGAR, AUGUST 02: Chief Secretary, B V R Subrahmanyam, today extended greetings to the people on the occasion of Rakshabandhan, wishing them stronger familial ties.
In his message on the eve of Rakshabandhan, Chief Secretary said that protection of women’s interest is integral to Indian society, adding that the festival celebrates the position of women in every sphere of life.
He urged people to take precautions, maintain social distance and follow safety protocols during festivities and celebrations in these difficult times of COVID-19 pandemic.
