DC Anantnag reviews developmental issues, COVID-19 situation

ANANTNAG, AUGUST 10: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, KK Sidha today convened a meeting of Imams, Khateebs, representatives of various Auqafs and senior citizens to discuss developmental issues and review COVID-19 situation in the district.

The participants highlighted several issues confronting them that include power, water, road connectivity, healthcare, construction of play fields and other basic facilities.

They also lauded the efforts of the district administration vis-à-vis combating COVID-19 in their respective areas.

The DC after giving patient hearing to the people’s issues, he however assured them of addressing the same within the minimum possible time.

The DC instructed the participants to aware the masses about to strictly adhere to SOPs including wearing masks, maintaining social distancing in homes, offices and marriage functions besides at other religious and work places to keep Covid at bay.

On the occasion, the representatives assured their full support to DC vis-à-vis disseminating the message among masses.
