DC Anantnag suspends 10 employees in 2 days for unauthorized absence from duties

SRINAGAR, August 20(KINS): District Development Commissioner Anantnag Kuldeep Krishan Sidha has suspended at least 10 employees in the last two days for remaining unauthorized absent from duties.

District Development Commissioner Anantnag Thursday visited Larkipora to take stock of the ongoing construction work of 4x33mtr span Bridge being constructed by R&B Division Qazigung on Brengi nalla at Larkipora  at an estimated cost of Rs. 1250 lac with an expenditure of Rs. 280 lac till date.

As per news agency KINS, during the surprise visit, the DDC suspended one doctor of PHC Larkiopor and three officials of Agriculture extension office of Larkipora for remaining absent from duty  unauthorizedly.

Similarly on Wednesday, the DC visited Kehribal to review ongoing developmental works.

During the visit, the DDC asked the concerned Engineers to pace up the work and ensure completion of these works within the stipulated time.

The DDC placed six officials from Animal Husbandry and Rural Development Department under suspension for their un-authorized absence from duties.

The District Heads of these officials have been directed to enquire into the matter and furnish a report within 21 days.(KINS)
