ANANTNAG, AUGUST 22: DDC Anantnag Mr. K.K Sidha conducts PNC of various long pending roads coming under road extension of PMGSY, R&B here in DC office premises. The landowners from various habitations of district Anantnag appreciated the quick decision taken by the deputy commissioner for settlement of long pending cases of land compensation.
While speaking with the officials of the concerned departments the DDC stressed upon the officials to ensure the timely PNC and release of land compensation payments to the concerned land owners so that the projects will be completed well in time. He further stressed that the line departments like revenue, forest department, wildlife, development authorities etc should work in collaboration with each other and sort out the issues bilaterally.
While discussing with the land owners the DDC Anantnag highlighted the importance of roads in bringing development to the far flung areas of the UT and advised the participants to extend full cooperation to the administration so that every left over places are connected with urban areas.
