Srinagar, Dec 03 (KINS): Continuing its efforts to reach out the poor and needy people, police in Ganderbal distributed necessary items, COVID-19 safety kits among them under civic action programme.
SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal-JKPS along with SDPO Kangan Yasir Qadri-JKPS and SHO Kangan held the distribution function at Guest House Kangan. Essential items, Covid-19 safety kits which include masks, Sanitizers, Oximeter, Inhalers, Thermometer, Soaps, face shield, and other related items were distributed among the poor and needy families falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Kangan. A medical team also participated in the distribution function and performed a detailed demo about how to use these items provided in the kit.
On the occasion, SSP Ganderbal said that Ganderbal Police took early initiative on the outbreak of universal pandemic Covid-19 to reach out the poor and needy families especially residing in the far flung areas of this district who were badly affected during Covid-19 lockdown period.
General public of the area have appreciated the role of Ganderbal police while tackling pandemic COVID-19 from initial stage till now.(KINS)
