DC Kulgam reviews status of vaccination

KULGAM, JULY 02 (KINS) : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today directed the concerned to ensure the vaccination of left out persons above 45 years of age group in the district within next two days.

The DC passed the directions during a meeting convened here to review the vaccination status in the district.

Stressing on completing the vaccination process before the onset of the predicted third wave of Covid-19 pandemic, the DC directed Tehsildars/ BDOs/ ZEOs to mobilize people for vaccination in their respective jurisdictions.

He also directed CMO and other concerned to scale up the vaccination process of the 18-44 years of age group to meet the set targets as per schedule.

During the meeting it was informed that adequate numbers of Vaccines are available in the district and within a few days the district shall achieve cent percent vaccination of the target group.

The meeting was attended by ADC, ACR, Tehsildars, CEO, CMO, BDOs, ZEOs, BMOs and other concerned officers. (KINS)
