DC Ramban hands over Labour Cards to registered labourers

RAMBAN, JULY 02  (KINS) :  Labour Department has disbursed Rs.40.325 lakh as ‘Lower Education Assistance’   among   528 student wards of Labour Card holders of Ramban district.

Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mussarat Islam released the amount in favour of beneficiaries and handed over 35 new Labour Cards to the newly register labourers.

The welfare schemes being implemented by the Labour Department provides financial assistance to registered construction workers for the education of their children and welfare of their families.

As per Assistant Labour Commissioner, Angrez Singh, the education assistance would be transferred into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries in the next two days.

He also asked the labour cardholders to renew their cards to take benefits of the individual beneficiary oriented schemes of the department. (KINS)
