Cultural Wing DIPR Jammu organises Covid safety awareness Webinar  

JAMMU, JULY 17( KINS ): Cultural Wing Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Jammu today organised a webinar on covid appropriate behaviour in collaboration with Bhaderwah Valley Public School.

 

Vice Principal, Bhaderwah Valley Public School, Suhila Bano was the  Chief Guest and Cultural Officer Parul Khajuria,  and Editor DIPR, Hemant Vaid were Guests of Honour.

 

The programme was coordinated by Dazy Akhter and the event was judged by  Nazma Najar, Fozia Beig and Sobia Beig of the host School.  In all 10 students expressed their views about covid 19 appropriate behavior for staying safe from the infection.

 

Rabia Choudhary got 1st position,  Faiza Fatima stood 2nd and  Ayat Jaffer was adjudged as 3rd. Consolation prizes were given to  Saheem Tariq & Shweta Bloria.

 

The welcomed address was presented by Suresh Sharma, Senior Cultural Assistant. A musical programme featuring songs and jingles on theme of the webinar was presented by the artists of Cultural wing including,  Banti Shah, Balbir Singh and Mohinder Panchairvi. They were  supported by Drama Instructor,  Vijay Anand .

 

Chief Guest, Suhila Bano appreciated the Information department especially cultural wing Jammu for spreading awareness about the most relevant issue of present times by organizing such programmes. She also hoped that the Department would conduct more such awareness functions in future.

 

Guest of Honour, Parul Khajuria &  Hemant Vaid also spoke on the topic and applauded the participants for conveying their  messages  on covid appropriate behaviour. They also highlighted departmental activities for spreading awareness among the people on varied social issues and appealed to the participants to follow the Covid  safety guidelines and encourage others also.
